To assure a proper representation of Collier County demographics, the School Board of Collier County made Luis Alejandro Bernal a member of the Board’s Education Subcommittee and also invited him to take part of the Strategic Planning process the School District is currently undertaking.
Bernal is a business consultant, specialized on Hispanic Marketing Communication, who belongs to several Hispanic organizations such as the SWFL Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Council for Hispanic Business Professionals and the Hispanic Institute at Hodges University. He is also Executive Member of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce.
The purpose of the Education Subcommittee is promoting community involvement and public discussion of issues that are important for students, education and the school system in general in Collier County so as to bring them to the attention and decision of the School Board. It is made up by two School Board Members, School District Staff and volunteer community leaders.
Bernal invites the Hispanic/Latino Community in Collier to contact him with comments, concerns, or suggestions that could be helpful to improve our schools. He can be contacted at Luis@HispanicWise.com
Well deserved award!!!
Thank you Harry, and believe me: when acting in those capacities, I keep in mind not only Hispanics as a minority, but others as well, as Education is a crucial way for personal development and for the good of America.
Congratulation Luis. That’s awesome.
